Jon Combs of Hazard earned week two TACKLING TOBACCO Player of the Week honor after amassing 471 yards of total offense with five touchdowns in a 48-34 win over Letcher County Central.   For the season, Combs has thrown for 2,653 yards with 37 touchdowns.   E-mail your vote for Hazard’s Jon Combs.

 

Branden Cresap of Collins threw five touchdowns in a 52-7 win over Bullitt East, earning the week five TACKLING TOBACCO Player of the Week.   Cresap is the state’s leading passer in 4A, throwing for 2,672 yards with 35 touchdowns with just eight interceptions.  E-mail your vote for Collins High School’s Branden Cresap.

 

Scooter Hollis of Bowling Green had 251 yards of total offense with four scores in a 44-20 win over Owensboro, earning the week four TACKLING TOBACCO Player of the Week honor.  For the season, Hollis has 1,941 yards of total offense with 23 touchdowns.  E-mail your vote for Bowling Green’s Scooter Hollis.

 

Kevin Humphrey of Central Hardin earned the week six TACKLING TOBACCO Player of the Week after throwing for 311 yards with two scores in a win over LaRue. E-mail your vote for Central Hardin’s Kevin Humphrey.

 

J.J. Jude of Johnson Central set the state-record with 584 yards rushing with six touchdowns in a 68-35 win over Woodford County to earn the TACKLING TOBACCO Player of the Week for week eight. Michael Kremer of Campbell County won the week ten TACKLING TOBACCO honor after throwing for 456 yards with five scores in a 45-42 double-overtime win over George Rogers Clark. E-mail your vote for Campbell County’s Michael Kremerbs.

 

Garrit Leicht of DeSales rushed for 146 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 28-6 win over Elizabethtown, earning the week one TACKLING TOBACCO Player of the WeekE-mail your vote for DeSales High School’s Garritt Leicht.

 

Vinny Miller of Henry Clay totaled 361 yards of offense with six touchdowns in leading his team to a 54-35 win over Clay County, earning the TACKLING TOBACCO honor for week seven.  E-mail your vote for Henry Clay’s Vinny Miller.

 

Landon Savoy of John Hardin won the week nine TACKLING TOBACCO honor after setting a school-record with five touchdowns in a win over Bullitt Central. E-mail your vote for John Hardin’s Landon Savoy.

 

Jerry Williams of Henry Clay earned the week three TACKLING TOBACCO Player of the Week after recording 399 total yards in a 31-20 win over Scott County, throwing for 245 yards with three scores and rushing for 154 yards.  E-mail your vote for Henry Clay’s Jerry Williams.
